Job Description

DUTY STATION       : Lifelink Hospital & Lifelink Medical Centre

DEPARTMENT         : Nursing

POSITION                 : Nurse

REPORTS TO            : Head of Nursing

INTERFACES WITH : Clinical Coordinator and Team Leaders from other departments

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma, or a certificate in Comprehensive Nursing from a recognized institution
  • Valid Practicing License & Registration certificate from the nurses and midwives’ council impressive track record.

 

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills using the teamwork concept with staff and management.
  • Have a positive attitude, practice integrity, be honest and show respect for individuals.
  • Knowledge of the nursing process and legal aspects of documentation.
  • Careful and analytical approach to work.
  • Sympathetic, supportive, and professional approach to patients
  • Able to learn independently
  • Possess physical stamina.

 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A nurse is expected to know the hospital facilities very well, able assess and help in any emergencies.
  • Expected to rotate in all the nursing departments and work any shift allocated to them.
  • To be flexible, and respectful to fellow staff and team leaders.
