Company Description

The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is an international financial institution and a specialized agency of the United Nations. It was established in the 1970s in response to a global food crisis. IFAD’s mission is to eradicate poverty and hunger in rural areas of developing countries by investing in agriculture, rural economies, and food systems.

IFAD works in 92 countries and has supported millions of rural people to lift themselves out of poverty. They focus on small-scale farmers and rural entrepreneurs, helping them to produce enough nutritious food for their communities and take charge of their own development
