Job Description
Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Bus Driver to join our client in the telecom sector. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, staff, and equipment, ensuring strict compliance with traffic regulations and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the organization bus and other assigned vehicles in a safe, responsible, and professional manner.
- Ensure the safety of passengers, equipment, and assigned vehicles at all times while strictly adhering to traffic regulations and road safety standards.
- Conduct weekly inspections of assigned vehicles and submit condition reports as required.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks to maintain vehicle roadworthiness, including inspection of tires, brakes, engine oil, fan belt, and other critical components.
- Oversee routine and preventive maintenance of the assigned vehicle to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Promptly report accidents or incidents to supervisors and ensure that official police reports are filed and obtained where necessary.
- Manage timely refueling of assigned vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
- Always maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the bus/vehicle.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Advanced Level (A-Level) Certificate with at least five (5) years of continuous experience driving heavy passenger buses.
- Valid Driver’s License (Classes D1, D, DE, or CE) and a current Passenger Service Vehicle (PSV) Driver’s Badge issued by the Ministry of Works and Transport and/or Transport Licensing Board certification.
- Proven safe driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor mechanical repairs.
- Good knowledge of national routes and willingness to work in upcountry locations.
- Mature, self-driven individual with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, client-focused, team-oriented, and able to perform effectively under pressure, including overtime when required.
