Job Description

 Position: Enrolled Nurse

Location: Mondays Hope Medical Centre – Senene, Mpigi

Application Deadline: 13th March 2026

Employment Type: Full Time

Academic Qualifications: 

  • Certificate in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Professional Qualifications: 

  • Valid registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.

  • Current practicing license.

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a primary healthcare setting.

  • Experience working with diverse patient populations is preferred.

Special Skills & Attributes: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Compassionate, dedicated and patient-centered approach.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records are advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Providing holistic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. ∙ Assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.

  • Administering medications as per prescribed protocols.

  • Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting changes.

  • Educating patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the clinical environment.

  • Participating in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
