Job Description
Post: Information Technology Officer (Systems and Network) – 6 Posts
Reference: UHPAB/HRM/ITSN/023/26
Scale: UHPAB 5
Reports to: Senior IT Officer, Systems Administration
Job Purpose
- To provide technical support in the maintenance of ICT resources
Qualifications
- A Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Programming or Fine Arts in Digital Media
Experience
- Not necessary
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise capture and processing of UHPAB data
- Conduct checks for correctness and completeness of data
- Supervise processing and printing of reports
- Prepare and submit reports to other units
- Monitor and control fraudulent data input
- Manage candidate registration timelines
- Train and support system users
- Clean, correct and validate system data
- Prepare statistical data for analysis
- Identify system improvement gaps
- Conduct data backup and restoration
- Bind answer booklets

- Attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae

- Post Graduate Diploma Certificate and Transcript

- Certified Registration Certificates and valid Practicing Licenses for health workers where required by law
- Evidence of training and practice in specialized areas where applicable
- Letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion where applicable
- National and Current Institutional Identity Cards
- Priority should be given to only the relevant academic documents in the job specifications
- All applicants will have the opportunity to present additional relevant qualifications
