Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the vacant posts that exist in the service of Kyegegwa District Local Government as listed below.

Applications must be submitted in triplicate on PUBLIC SERVICE FORM 3 (PSF 3) (Revised 2008) to the Secretary, Kyegegwa District Service Commission, P. O Box 99, Kyegegwa not later than Wednesday 18th March, 2026 at 5pm which is the closing date and time.

Application forms are obtainable from District Service Commissions Country wide, Public Service Commission offices 2nd Floor, Farmers House-Kampala and Ministry of Public Service website at www.psc.go.ug

Applicants MUST attach to each form a set of duly CERTIFIED photocopies of All Academic Certificates, Transcripts, Passlips, Employment Records, Annual Practicing Licenses, Registration Certificates where applicable, recent passport photographs, a copy of a National Identity Card and copies of all identity cards from all former institutions of learning.

Applications should bear on top, the Advertisement No., Title of the post, day time phone contacts as well as the reference number of the post.

  • To provide and maintain curative and preventive health care services in accordance with National Health Service standards.

  • Public health practices promoted;

  • Research activities & Health data collected;

  • Outreach Health Service Programmes implemented;

  • Continued professional development done;

  • Professional and Service codes of conduct and ethics enforced;

  • Periodic reports prepared; and

  • Accountability for financial and other resources carried out.

  • Diagnosing, treating and managing patients;

  • Promoting public health practices in the community;

  • Participating in research activities and health data collection; and

  • Participating in continued professional development.

Person Specifications
Qualifications

  • Must have an MB.Ch.B or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.

  • Must be registered and licensed with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
