- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to think critically, engage in discussions, and solve problems effectively.
- Use a range of formative and summative assessment techniques to monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the extracurricular programme by providing business-related enrichment activities and supporting business-related student initiatives.
- Support students in their personal, academic, and career development, providing guidance on university choices and business career pathways.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in the subject area and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
- Collaborate with other teachers within the department and across the school to ensure consistency and coherence in student learning.
- Participate in school-wide activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.
Key Requirements
- A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field (PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification is highly desirable).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Business Studies, ideally within an international school setting.
- Experience teaching both the UK National Curriculum and IB DP Business Management is essential.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for lifelong learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the wider school community.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Personal Qualities
- A professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- High standards of professional ethics and integrity.
