Applications should be filled in triplicate on PSF No.3 (Revised 2008) and submitted to the Secretary, DISTRICT SERVICE COMMISSION, P.O. BOX 196, MITYANA to be received not later than 5:00pm 22nd January, 2026.
The application forms can be obtained from Kassanda District Service Commission, Public Service Commission Offices at Farmers House 2nd floor, Parliamentary Avenue Kampala or downloaded on Public Service Commission website www.psc.go.ug.

Responsible for : Health Educator
Job Purpose
To implement appropriate strategies and programmes for Health Education and Promotion in the District.
Key Outputs
- Appropriate Health Education and promotion materials developed
- Guidelines for implementing Health Education and Promotion in the District disseminated and enforced
- Health Education and Promotion programmes and activities by communities, Government and NGOs supported
- Plans and budgets for Health Education prepared
- Allocated resources accounted for
- Research activities carried out
- Students and staff trained and mentored
- Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics enforced
- Staff supervised and appraised
- Progress reports on Health Education and Promotion prepared and submitted
Key Functions
- Developing appropriate Health Education materials
- Enforcing guidelines for implementing Health Education in the District
- Supporting implementation of Health Education programmes and activities by communities, Government and NGOs
- Participating in planning and budgeting for Health Education in the District
- Accounting for allocated resources
- Participating in research activities
- Training and mentoring students and staff
- Enforcing adherence to Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics
- Supervising and appraising staff
- Preparing and submitting progress reports on Health Education
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Honours Degree in Health Education from a recognized Institution
Experience
- At least three (3) years working experience as a Health Educator
