Job Title: Senior IT Officer (Website Design and Maintenance)
Salary Scale: UVTAB 4

Job Purpose:
To design, develop, update, and maintain the UVTAB website and related digital platforms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, update, and maintain the UVTAB website in line with modern standards and organizational needs.

Ensure website design reflects the UVTAB brand identity, user-friendliness, and responsiveness across devices, and monitor performance of website and related digital platforms to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

Monitor website traffic and usage through analytics tools to improve user experience.

Provide technical support for troubleshooting and routine maintenance of the website printing systems.

Implement preventive measures to minimize machine downtime and ensure consistent production systems.

Collaborate and liaise with IT and Communication units to integrate digital platforms with organizational systems.
-
Ensure all website operations comply with safety standards and regulations.

Keep abreast of emerging trends in web design, development, and digital communication.
Person Qualification:
a) Qualifications:
-
Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Programming from a recognized awarding institution.

Master’s degree in any of the above from a recognized awarding institution.

Recognized professional ICT certifications (added advantage).
b) Experience:

At least three (3) years working experience in web designing at IT Officer level in Government or a reputable organization.
