Job Summary

A reputable manufacturing company based in Kampala is seeking to recruit a Supervisor PET Section Plant

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the PET section to ensure smooth and efficient production
  • Monitor machine performance and coordinate routine maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Lead, train, and motivate PET section staff
  • Prepare production reports and track key performance indicators
  • Minimize downtime, waste, and production losses
  • Ensure proper use of raw materials and adherence to SOPs

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in PET and blowing processes preferably from companies like rwenzori, bestpack and Luka Plastics
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good knowledge of PET blowing/molding processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
