Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is Uganda’s leading integrated poultry company and a widely recognized household brand. Established in 2012, the company has grown from modest beginnings into a large-scale operation employing over 1,000 staff across more than 10 production sites. BPIL plays a central role in Uganda’s poultry value chain, contributing significantly to food security, employment creation, and agribusiness development.

The company specializes in the production and distribution of high-quality day-old chicks and HACCP-certified animal feed. These products are supplied through a network of over 30 branches operating within Uganda and across the East African region, ensuring accessibility and consistency for poultry farmers of all scales. BPIL’s integrated model allows it to maintain strict quality control standards across production, processing, and distribution.

In addition to live poultry and feed, BPIL produces value-added chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken and Biyinzika Chicken brands. These products are distributed through 24 Pearl Chicken outlets, as well as wholesalers, hotels, caterers, restaurants, retail shops, and supermarkets. All Pearl Chicken products are certified by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), reflecting BPIL’s commitment to food safety, quality assurance, and consumer confidence.
