ActionAid is a global federation of non-governmental organizations working in over 45 countries to achieve social justice, gender equality, and the eradication of poverty. In Uganda, ActionAid International Uganda (AAIU) has operated since 1982, focusing on empowering people living in poverty and exclusion.
