Job Description

To support the development, integration, and maintenance of institutional digital systems and applications, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable operations across all platforms. This includes continuous system improvement, performance monitoring, and user support.  

Education

An Honor’s bachelor’s degree in information and communication technology, Library and Information Management or any bachelor’s degree with ICT qualification or ICT professional qualification from a recognized university/Institution. 

Experience

Minimum of 3 years working experience with a reputation organization in  training and development function  

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain digital systems, including e-learning platforms and other institutional applications.  

Build and integrate frontend, backend, and mobile solutions to enhance accessibility and user experience.  

Develop and connect APIs to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.  

Support system lifecycle activities, including design, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.  

Implement system enhancements, automation, and performance optimization to meet evolving institutional needs. 

Support the day-to-day administration and continual modifications to the institute’s learning platform including managing special projects when they arise. 

Coordinate the development and uploading of E-learning material to the   institute’s e-learning platform and eventual delivery. 

Publicize UIBFS e-Learning platforms to the Institute members and students with the objectives of promoting its usability among members.  

Review the effectiveness of the e-learning platforms   and advise management on the possible improvements in line with Institute objectives   

Provide user support to lecturers/independent trainer in the application of the system during learning sessions.   

Monitor and report on e-learning resource use across the various teaching platforms 

Design and implement a disaster recovery plan for the system   

Monitor and maintain the integrity of learning content on the platform  

Secure systems, networks and individual computers based on requirements and implementation 

Plan, implement and control user and account security rights and restriction 

Research and implements new technologies to improve the e-learning platform. 

Perform other lawful duties as assigned by the supervisor
