The Embassy of the United States in Uganda is the official diplomatic mission representing the United States government in the country. The US government is one of Uganda’s largest bilateral donors, heavily funding initiatives like the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) to combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis. The embassy also promotes cultural and educational exchanges, managing prestigious programs like the Fulbright and Hubert Humphrey fellowships for Ugandan professionals and students.
