Job Description

Position: Tax Senior

Kampala, Uganda | Partner-Track Position

Crowe Uganda is looking for a talented and ambitious Tax Senior to join our growing Tax & Regulatory Services team.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced managers and partners on a wide range of tax engagements, including advisory, compliance, transfer pricing, tax audits, and dispute resolution matters. If you are looking to deepen your technical expertise while taking the next step in your career, we would like to hear

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and statutory filings.
  • Support tax advisory and structuring engagements.
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation and reviews.
  • Analyse tax assessments and draft objection submissions.
  • Support tax audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
  • Conduct technical research and prepare reports, opinions, and client correspondence.
  • Liaise with the Uganda Revenue Authority and support junior team members.

Qualifications and Experience

  • CPA(U), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant tax experience.
  • Practical exposure to tax assessments, audits, objections, and compliance engagements.
  • Sound knowledge of Ugandan tax legislation and IFS fundamentals.

Added advantage:

  • Additional tax qualification.
  • Transfer pricing experience.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment.
