Job Description

Operator – Boiler Attendant
- Source of Recruitment: Local
- Minimum Qualification: Trade Certificate with Valid Boiler Attendant License
- Experience Required: 8–10 Years
- Industry Focus: Industrial Utilities (Oil-Fired & Biomass-Fired Boilers)
Job Purpose
- To safely operate, monitor, and perform high-level maintenance on oil-fired and biomass-fired industrial steam boilers while complying with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of high-pressure boilers, regulating fuel feed rates, steam pressures, and water levels.
- Supervise biomass fuel feeding (briquettes, husk, bagasse) and oil combustion processes to maintain continuous steam supply.
- Conduct regular safety tests, including blowdown procedures, gauge glass tests, and safety valve checks.
- Lead minor mechanical maintenance, seal replacements, and prepare boilers for statutory inspector audits.
