Job Description

Operator – Diesel Generator (DG) Set
  • Source of Recruitment: Local
  • Minimum Qualification: Trade Certificate with Valid Electrical License
  • Experience Required: 3–4 Years
  • Industry Focus: Any Industrial Sector

Job Purpose
To manage high-capacity standby diesel generator systems, handle power changeovers, and maintain emergency backup power availability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-output diesel generators and handle manual/automatic transfer switch (AMF) actions during mains outages.
  • Monitor engine levels, alternator outputs, cooling temperatures, and battery charge states.
  • Handle fuel reception, check fuel quality, and keep exact consumption logs.
  • Complete basic preventive engine service tasks like replacing fuel filters and monitoring coolant mixes.
