Job Description
Exquisite Solution Limited is hiring an experienced Digital Loan Recovery Agent for our client in the banking sector. The role involves engaging customers with overdue digital loans, negotiating repayments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with banking, data protection, and responsible debt collection standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers with overdue digital loans through approved channels including telephone calls, SMS, email and other authorized digital platforms.
- Clearly communicate outstanding obligations and negotiate realistic repayment commitments.
- Follow up consistently on promises to pay and agreed repayment dates.
- Manage assigned accounts according to ageing, outstanding balances and recovery priorities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, commitments, disputes and follow-up actions.
- Treat customers professionally and respectfully while remaining firm and focused on results.
- Handle objections, difficult conversations and repayment challenges appropriately.
- Escalate unresolved accounts, complaints, fraud concerns or customer disputes according to approved procedures.
- Protect customer information and always maintain strict confidentiality.
- Comply with the Bank’s collection procedures, approved scripts, customer treatment standards and data-protection requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 2–3 years of experience in loan recovery, debt collection, banking, microfinance, or a related field is desirable.
- Good computer and digital skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly performance-driven environment
- Strong results orientation and ability to work against demanding targets.
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion and objection-handling skills.
- Clear, confident and professional communication.
- Resilience and ability to remain productive despite rejection or difficult conversations.
- High integrity, confidentiality and ethical conduct.
- Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
