Bar backs

Our client is looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Bar Back to support bartenders and ensure the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. The role involves maintaining bar supplies, cleanliness, glassware, and general service support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders with daily bar operations and service.
• Ensure the bar is adequately stocked with beverages, ice, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies.
• Replenish bar stock and supplies throughout service.
• Wash, clean, and organise glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Keep the bar, storage, and service areas clean and organised.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organising bar supplies.
• Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Support bartenders during busy service periods.
• Report stock shortages, damaged equipment, or other issues to the supervisor.
• Follow all hygiene, health, safety, and company procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Bar Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Catering, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, or similar hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and hygiene standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, energetic, and hardworking.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
