Job Description
Job Summary
Our client is looking for an results-oriented Corporate Sales Executive to drive institutional sales of learning materials and professional development workshops to schools and educational organizations across Uganda.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Execution: Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets; identify and convert new institutional accounts across pre-primary and primary educational segments.
- Account Management: Build and nurture relationships with school heads, decision-makers, and procurement committees; handle client renewals, re-orders, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Order & Delivery Coordination: Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle from issuing proposals and processing orders to coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
- Collections & Reporting: Liaise with finance teams to ensure prompt invoicing and payment collections; maintain up-to-date pipeline activity in the CRM system.
- Market Presence: Represent the company at trade shows, educational exhibitions, and field events to gather market feedback and track competitor activity.
Key Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven B2B/institutional sales experience, preferably within education, publishing, or FMCG sectors.
Skills: Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and pipeline management skills; proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
