About the Job
The Academic Coordinator provides vital leadership over academic standards and curriculum fidelity across the school’s early-years classrooms. The successful candidate will champion the continuous professional development of the teaching team, evaluate instructional quality, and ensure every child meets core milestones for primary school readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe classroom instruction regularly.
- Ensure rigorous implementation of high-quality Montessori methodologies and active-learning practices.
- Facilitate ongoing professional feedback.
- Mentor classroom guides.
- Design instructional support tools.
- Coordinate skill-building workshops.
- Track regional academic metrics.
- Refine curriculum maps.
- Evaluate developmental progress.
- Ensure seamless transitions to subsequent primary school tiers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in academic leadership.
- Extensive pedagogical understanding of early-years systems.
- Extensive familiarity with Montessori teaching models.
- Knowledge of Montessori material sequencing.
- Knowledge of child observation methods.
- Outstanding team leadership skills.
- Strong strategic curriculum design capabilities.
- Strong direct mentorship capabilities.
