Job Description: Billing Assistant

Job Purpose

Ensure accurate and timely billing of patients and clients, maintain proper records, and support efficient revenue collection under hospital financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process patient bills accurately and promptly.
  • Verify billing information, medical charges, and incoming payments.
  • Follow up on outstanding patient bills and reconcile billing discrepancies.
  • Provide professional, empathetic customer service to patients and institutional stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with hospital management or accounting systems (e.g., Dynamics NAV, Clinic Master) is an added advantage.
