Company Description

Bukedea District Service Commission (DSC) is a statutory corporate body established under Article 198 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda and Section 54 of the Local Governments Act (Cap 243). Operating as the independent human resource arm of the Bukedea District Local Government in Eastern Uganda, the commission is mandated to recruit, confirm, promote, and exercise disciplinary control over all public officers within the district civil service.
The administrative scope of the commission encompasses a diverse array of public service sectors, including Education, Primary Healthcare, Agriculture, Engineering, and Community Development. It regularly publishes official job advertisements to fill vacancies across lower local government structures, such as town councils and sub-counties. Its mass recruitments typically target essential grassroots cadres, ranging from Education Assistants, Nurses, and Midwives to Parish Chiefs, Enforcement Officers, and Agricultural Officers.
