Company Description
Coffee at Last is a vibrant and highly popular cafe, bar, and lounge located on Plot 129 Mobutu Road on Makindye Hill, Kampala, right opposite the Makindye Country Club. Operating as a beloved neighborhood staple for over sixteen years, it offers a relaxed, artsy environment featuring a cozy indoor lounge, a scenic balcony, an airy terrace, and a peaceful garden. Known for its exceptional artisan coffee, wood-fired pizzas, and international-local fusion menu, the establishment serves as a favorite sanctuary for digital nomads, families, and travelers looking to escape the city’s frantic pace.
The culinary framework at the cafe seamlessly balances high-quality ingredients with approachable pricing, making it a standout culinary destination in Makindye Division. The beverage program is anchored by their premium Igufa House Blend, an artisan coffee that expertly pairs high-altitude Arabica and Robusta beans sourced directly from the Rwenzori and Elgon volcanic mountain ranges. Food lovers flock to the venue for their famous “Buy One, Get One Free” pizza promotions every Tuesday and Friday, alongside a popular “Monday Madness” pastry special and live-grilled meat barbecues every Saturday and Sunday.
Beyond its role as a premier dining spot, Coffee at Last has strategically scaled into a multi-functional hospitality hub that handles diverse guest requirements. Discreetly tucked away on the quiet back end of the property sits the Mahali Guesthouse, an intimate lodging option featuring five cozy, individually styled rooms that include complimentary Wi-Fi and direct breakfast access. The main venue also features reliable high-speed internet, ample charging ports, and dynamic indoor-outdoor hosting spaces that frequently accommodate local business workshops, private birthday parties, and corporate networking events.
