Company Description

The Fidelis Leadership Institute (FLI) is a premier training center based in Kampala, Uganda, dedicated to raising a critical mass of ethical and visionary leaders to drive economic and psychosocial transformation across Africa. Founded in 2019, the institute draws inspiration from faith-based values and servant leadership to instill integrity, purpose, and character into modern governance and community management. The center utilizes a highly interactive and hands-on training approach, heavily blending experiential learning, practical role-plays, and strategic case studies to shape impactful change-makers.
The core operating philosophy of the Fidelis Leadership Institute relies entirely on its signature F.A.T. framework, which champions the values of Faithfulness, Availability, and Teachability. Under this curriculum, FLI offers a suite of structured leadership packages, including executive coaching, corporate governance masterclasses, and its flagship 16-week F.A.T. Fellowship. This fellowship covers diverse multi-sectoral modules and connects emerging African professionals directly with prominent regional leaders and innovative global thinkers to build professional competence and a strong network.
Beyond standard management training, the institute has diversified into specialized corporate and legal programs to bridge existing regulatory gaps. Notably, FLI made history as the very first training center in the region accredited by the COMESA Competition Commission to deliver specialized training in competition law and consumer protection. Alongside these regional commercial protocols, the institute curates bespoke packages addressing modern institutional challenges, including cybercrime security modules, legislative drafting, arbitration, and intellectual property law. [
To achieve wide-scale national transformation, the institute actively runs large-scale, donor-supported civic programs across Uganda. In collaboration with the Austrian Development Cooperation, FLI runs extensive governance and accountability training for civil society leaders, and it partners with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) to conduct accredited nationwide voter education. Managed under the leadership of Executive Director Pheona Nabasa Wall, these regional outreaches span from Jinja and Mbarara to Gulu and Arua, equipping youth, civil society representatives, and first-time voters with vital civic tools.
