To maintain its round-the-clock manufacturing operations, the firm manages a heavily scaled international network, importing specialized raw materials and heavy footwear machinery through thousands of shipments from major production hubs in China, Taiwan, and South Korea.
The company’s primary production plant operates out of its flagship manufacturing facility located along Bombo Road in the Gombe Division of Kakerenge, within the Nansana Municipality of Wakiso District. In a landmark industrial property case ruled on by the Commercial Division of the High Court of Uganda, Migoo successfully defended its unique gumboot moulds, resulting in the court ordering a competing entity to pay billions of shillings in damages for infringing upon Migoo’s registered industrial designs and trademarks.
