Company Description
Young African Refugees for Integral Development (YARID) is a prominent refugee-led NGO based in Kampala, founded in 2007 by young Congolese refugees. The organization was established to bridge the gap in services for urban refugees, who often struggle to access the same support systems as those in designated settlements. Its primary mission is to empower refugees, orphans, and displaced persons across Africa to overcome vulnerability and transition into healthy, self-sustaining, and contributing members of their new communities.
