Applications should be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form 3 (Revised 2008) to The Secretary, Kotido District Service Commission, P.O. Box 1, Kotido not later than 17th February, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Applicants should attach three (3) sets of recent Passport size photographs, photocopies of academic and other Professional Documents and three (3) sets of recent National Identity Card. Applications should bear the Title and Reference Number of the post applied for.
Applicants who are serving officers should route their applications through their Responsible Officers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delays. They should attach copies of Letters of Appointment, Confirmation and Promotion Letters, where applicable. Application forms can be obtained from Chief Administrative Officers’ offices, Secretaries of District Service Commissions or Public Service Commission Kampala.

Job Purpose

To implement crop extension programmes.
Key Outputs

Farmer training and demonstrations in modern agronomic practices carried out;

Crop pests and diseases identified and farmers advised on control measures;

Natural disasters monitored and reported;
-
Monthly activity implementation reports produced;
-
Agricultural statistical data collected and compiled; and
-
Agricultural development programmes implemented.
Key Functions
-
Training farmers and carrying out demonstrations in modern agronomic practices;
-
Identifying crop pests and diseases and advising farmers on control measures;
-
Monitoring and reporting on natural disasters;
-
Producing monthly reports on implementation of activities;
-
Collecting and compiling agricultural statistical data; and
-
Implementing agricultural development programmes.
Person Specifications
(i) Qualifications

A Diploma in Agriculture or in related discipline from a recognised Institution.
