- Completed application forms be submitted in triplicate on PSC form 3 (revised 2008) to the Secretary, Gulu City Service Commission, P.O Box 140, Gulu) at the City Commission Registry located at former Laroo Division offices block with clear position reference number not later than 11/6/2026 at 5:00pm.
- For officers already in service, applications must be accompanied with duly signed and completed recommendation forms (PSC form 2) by the responsible officer.
- Application forms can be obtained from the Public Service Commission Office, District Service Commission/ City Service Commission Offices country wide or can be downloaded from Ministry of Public Service website on www.publicservice.go.ug
- Applications should be accompanied with three (3) most recent colored passport size photographs, letter of appointment/promotion to the present substantive grade/position. Photocopies of certified transcripts and Certificates, Identity cards, (National ID and Institutional ID). Valid practicing license and Registration certificates for medical personnel’s and online registration certificates for teachers, Engineers, Procurement and any other relevant authorities and documents that is a requirement for operations and duties.

To maintain law and order and enforce regulations in the Municipality.

- Enforcing national laws and Council by-laws.

Person Specifications
Qualifications
- “O” Level Education plus a Diploma in Law with formal training in policing and Criminal Investigation activities from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Two (2) years’ experience in law enforcement activities.
Competences
- Evidence Act training skills.
- Communicating effectively.
- Time management.
- Physical fitness.
