| Position | Lecturer, Department of Medical Biochemistry |

| Reporting To | Head of Department |
| Key Duties & Responsibilities | 1. Teach, examine and grade students;
2. Supervise research for students; 3. Mentor junior staff; 4. Conduct research and community outreach activities; 5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department; 6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department. |
| Required Qualifications | i. PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, medicine, Psychiatry or Genetics;
ii. Masters degree in Clinical Chemistry or Biochemistry or Molecular Biology or Biotechnology; iii. An Honour’s Bachelor’s degree of Medicine and surgery or Biomedical laboratory technology or Bachelor of science degree majoring in Biochemistry. |
