Job Description
Position: Graphics Creative Editor
Reports to: Station Manager TV West
Duty Station: Mbarara
Department: Television Division/Section TV West
Vision Group, a leading multimedia company committed to informing, educating, and entertaining audiences through innovative and impactful media salutions, is seeking dynamic and results-driven Graphics Creative Editor to work in the Western Region.
Job Purpose: Design quality TV West Programming and News Graphics, Commercial advertisements and sales demos.
Key Result Areas:
Conceptualize graphics/artworks for TV West programs/digital and news, commercial production work and sales demos in line with Tv west needs and TV
SOPs by;
- Develop production scripts for commercials, inhouse promos and submit for approval by the station manager.
- Create and design program graphics and commercial adverts for TVWest for onward transmission.
- Generate daily artworks for TVWest programs for the digital platforms Determine appropriate delivery time.
- Produce story boards where necessary
- Design graphics and logos for the TVs shows.
- Produce artworks for Tv west digital platforms.
Education and Professional qualifications
- Certificate / Diploma in Multi – media / Degree in Industrial Art
Working Experience – 3 years proven work experience
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Technical
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
- Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- At least one 3D Application software (Autodesk), Maya, 3DS Max, Maxon Cinema 4D)
- Understand Color theory
- Understand Elements and Principles of Design
