Role Summary
The Consultant/Specialist Gynaecologist will deliver comprehensive reproductive and gynecological care to patients. This includes preventative screenings, diagnosis, treatment, and managing specialized women’s health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine screenings and specialized gynecological examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat disorders of the female reproductive system.
  • Provide preconception care, fertility advice, and family planning services.
  • Manage high-risk and low-risk gynecological conditions and outpatient procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary clinical teams to optimize patient care.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Master of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from a recognized institution.
  • Licensure: Active registration and valid practicing license from the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC).
  • Experience: Proven experience practicing as a specialist in a busy clinical setup.
