Job Description

 Position Lecturer, Department of Physiology
 Closing Date 2026-05-04
 Reporting To Head of Department
 Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Teach, examine and grade students;
  2. Supervise research for students;
  3. Mentor junior staff;
  4. Conduct research and community outreach activities;
  5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;
  6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
 Required Qualifications              i.        PhD in Physiology or Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or Immunology;

ii.        Master of Science Physiology

iii.        An Honour’s Bachelor’s degree of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Bachelor of Science Nursing, (BSN) or Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM);

iv.        Registration and licensure by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners council;

v.        Valid practicing License.
 Tenure of Appointment Permanent
 Age Limit APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIFTY FIVE (55) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
