Job Description

 Position LECTURER – DRAMA, Department of Performing Arts & Film
 Closing Date 2026-09-14 00:00:00
 Reporting To Head of Department
 Key Duties & Responsibilities 1.    Teach, examine and grade students;

2.    Supervise research for students;

3.    Mentor junior staff;

4.    Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5.    Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6.    Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department
 Required Qualifications
  1. PhD in Drama or Theatre Studies or Theatre Arts or Theatre;
  2. Master’s degree of Fine Arts in Drama or theatre studies with specialty in technical theatre or directing or acting or playwriting;
  3. At least an upper second Bachelor’s degree in drama or theatre or theatre arts
 Tenure of Appointment Permanent
 Age Limit APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIFTY FIVE (55) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
