Reports To: Head of Sub Office
Duty Stations: Moroto and Kotido

Andre Foods International (AFI) is a registered National Non-Governmental Organization (NNGO) in Uganda committed to improving the livelihoods of refugees and vulnerable communities. The organization implements programmes in food security, nutrition, health, WASH, environmental sustainability, gender protection, and research in partnership with government institutions, local communities, international NGOs, and United Nations agencies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular school visits to verify enrolment, attendance, FSQ and moisture-monitoring compliance, parental contribution records, and digital stock entries.
  • Support monthly sub-county Data Validation Clinics by reconciling school-level ledgers with digital records before migration into the District Education Management Information System (EMIS).
  • Support data entry, cleaning, and validation of school feeding data to ensure accuracy and completeness before quarterly Data Quality Assessment (DQA) exercises.
  • Compile accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly MEAL reports on key school feeding indicators, including FSQ compliance, parental contribution levels, and School Health and Nutrition (SHN) integration.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly technical reports for the World Food Programme (WFP) and District Executive Committees.
  • Assist in compiling quarterly Learning Insights briefs for the National School Feeding Working Group.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantitative Economics, Statistics, or another related field from a recognized institution.
  • A Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, school feeding, nutrition programmes, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of accountability mechanisms and reporting systems.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of Ng’akaramojong or other languages spoken in the Karamoja region is an added advantage.
  • A valid riding permit is an added advantage.
