Job Description

Operator – Chiller & Compressor
  • Source of Recruitment: Local
  • Minimum Qualification: Trade Certificate in Refrigeration / Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience Required: 3–4 Years
  • Industry Focus: Any Manufacturing Utilities Sector

Job Purpose
To operate shift machinery, log technical performance data, and perform minor adjustments on facility chiller and compressor systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Run industrial cooling chillers and high-pressure compressors following set operating rules.
  • Check and log pipeline pressures, refrigerant suction/discharge points, and lubricating oil levels hourly.
  • Clean condenser tubes, change inline air/oil filters, and inspect cooling tower fan configurations.
  • Report system abnormalities or cooling drop-offs immediately to the Utility Executive.
