Job Description

Uganda Martyrs’ Hospital (UMH), Diocese of Jinja, is a newly established state-of-the-art Private Not-for-Profit (PNFP) hospital in Jinja City. The hospital was founded by the Trustees of the Catholic Diocese of Jinja under the Ecclesiastical Province of Tororo Archdiocese. It aims to provide quality, affordable healthcare with a compassionate, patient-centred approach and is envisaged as a teaching and research hospital.

5. Pharmacy Technician

About the Job

The Pharmacy Technician will support the provision of pharmaceutical services within the hospital. The successful candidate will assist with dispensing, handling and management of medicines while maintaining appropriate pharmaceutical records and standards.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Diploma in Pharmacy.
  • Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
  • Valid practicing licence where applicable.
  • Ability to work accurately and responsibly in a healthcare environment.
