Job Description

ob Summary.

The overall purpose of the role is to grow and manage the Check Off Loans portfolio across the assigned region month on month, by driving MOU acquisition with employers/votes, overseeing appointment to sale conversion, leading a team of Sales Team Leaders and ensuring high portfolio quality, compliance and customer satisfaction across all territories in the region.

Key Responsibilities.

Regional MOU & Business Development Oversight

●Oversee and support Sales Team Leaders in identifying, negotiating and signing MOUs with employers/votes across the region.

● Personally lead negotiation and signing of strategic/high value MOUs with key regional employers and government votes.

● Monitor MOU renewal timelines across the region and ensure no lapses in active partnerships.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with regional vote/payroll offices, district leadership and other stakeholders.

Regional Sales Strategy & Target Achievement.

●Develop and implement the regional sales strategy in line with national targets and market opportunities.

● Set and cascade sales, recruitment and appointment booking targets to Sales Team Leaders.

● Monitor achievement of regional sales targets and take corrective action on underperforming territories.

●Analyse regional market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences to adjust strategy.

Team Leadership & People Management.

● Manage, coach, mentor and motivate Sales Team Leaders across the region.

● Conduct regular performance reviews and provide structured feedback and development plans.

● Drive recruitment, onboarding and training of Field Agents through the team leaders in the region.

●Manage attrition of sales staff through proper coordinated training and engagement.

CRM, Data Quality & Reporting.

● Ensure 100% compliance to CRM usage by all teams in the region.

● Ensure route plans and daily activities are assigned and completed across all territories.

● Prepare and submit consolidated regional weekly/monthly reports on sales, MOUs, appointments and collections to the Country Manager.

● Ensure accurate and timely data capture for all loans disbursed/reactivated across the region.

Portfolio Quality, Collections & Risk.

●   Ensure all votes in the region are performing.

● Oversee compliance with the Delinquency Escalation Process and ensure timely resolution of arrears.

●   Enforce a zero tolerance to fraud culture across the region.

Compliance, Governance & Stakeholder Management.

● Ensure regional compliance with all licenses, regulatory requirements and company policy.

● Escalate operational gaps or risks in the region to your line manager.

● Represent the company at regional level stakeholder engagements and sales meetings.

● Communicate and interpret company policies, procedures, corporate goals and objectives to regional teams.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills. 

  • A minimum of a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 year work experience with 2-3 years managing Team Leaders.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Negotiation Skills.
  •  The capacity to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • The ability to coach and mentor a sales team.
  • The ability to analyze sales data and identify trends.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
