Job Purpose
To mobilize, manage, coordinate, and grow the savings portfolio for corporate customers while ensuring excellent customer experience and facilitating the achievement of savings portfolio targets in accordance with Pride Bank policies, procedures, and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships while attracting prospective customers to ensure business continuity and growth.
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of clients and identify business development opportunities to increase market share.
- Formulate and implement sales action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Participate in sales campaigns, techniques, and tactics to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports showing balance sheet position, pipeline, and sales performance.
- Acquire new clients and promote cross-selling of additional solutions according to customer needs.
- Refer sales leads to other business units such as Asset Finance and Trade Finance.
- Promote the use of alternative self-service banking channels and educate customers on their benefits.
- Grow revenue and profitability of the assigned portfolio.
- Ensure continuous provision of high-quality and timely customer service.
- Achieve agreed branch targets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any business-related discipline, including Agribusiness Management.
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a banking business role.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computer literacy, numerical, and statistical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across the organization.
- Strong accountability and focus on delivering corporate goals.
- Ability to make decisions and work under uncertain conditions.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive image and uphold bank values.
- Must possess high integrity.
- Two Principal Passes at A’ Level.
- Credit and Pass in Mathematics and English at O’ Level.
- Professional qualification in Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) is an added advantage.
- Applicants should not be more than 40 years of age.
