Job Description

Uganda Christian University (UCU), a private institution founded in 1997 by the Province of the Shurch of Uganda, is dedicated through teaching, scholarship, service, spiritual formation, student development and social involvement; to the preparation of students for thoughtful, productive lives of Christian faith and service in their respective professions.

UCU invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the positions listed below.

Risk Management Officer

The Risk Management Officer will support the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks that may affect the University’s operations, resources, reputation and strategic objectives. The role will involve maintaining risk registers, supporting risk assessments and developing or monitoring appropriate mitigation measures.

The Officer will also work with different departments to promote risk awareness and compliance with institutional policies and procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening internal controls, business continuity and institutional resilience while providing management with relevant information on emerging and existing risks.
