Job Description

To promote excellence in our cultural and luxury operations, Igongo Country Hotel

& Cultural Centre located in Biharwe-Mbarara is looking to hire highly qualified person in the fields below.

Sales Executive

2 POSITIONS

1 based in Kampala

1 based in Mbarara

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement sales strategies and action plans for assigned market segments as well as attending trade shows, promotional events, and industry functions to represent the hotel.
  • Establish and maintain active client accounts and ensure proper documentation plus conduct sales trips, site inspections, and client entertainment to secure business.
  • Provide market feedback on competition and industry trends as you meet or exceed monthly booking quotas and contribute to achieving budgeted sales goals.
  • Maintain accurate records in the hotel’s PMS system and prepare timely reports and also ensure compliance with hotel standards, health and safety regulations, and corporate code of conduct.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems (PMS).
  • Willingness to travel and represent the hotel at industry events.
