SALES OFFICER – GENERATORS
Job Title: Sales Officer
Department: Sales & Marketing
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose
Info-code consults is seeking to hire a sales officer for our client to promote and sell generators and related products, develop new customers, maintain existing customer relationships, and achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities for generators.
- Promote and sell generators to individuals, businesses, institutions, contractors, and other potential customers.
- Understand customer power requirements and recommend suitable generator models and capacities.
- Prepare and present quotations, product information, and commercial proposals to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain generator features, benefits, installation requirements, and operating procedures.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, inquiries, and prospective customers to convert opportunities into sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Promote related products such as generator spare parts, accessories, batteries, cables, and maintenance services where applicable.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, product launches, roadshows, and other promotional activities.
- Collect customer feedback and report complaints or technical concerns to the relevant department.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, approved prices, and procedures.
- Prepare regular sales and market reports for the Sales Manager or Head of Sales.
- Perform any other sales-related duties assigned by management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Number of new customers acquired.
- Number of qualified sales leads generated.
- Conversion rate of leads into sales.
- Customer retention and repeat sales.
- Sales report accuracy and timely submission.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- With over 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in electrical equipment, machinery, automotive, construction equipment, or related industries.
- Knowledge of generator products and basic electrical/mechanical concepts is an added advantage.
- Experience in field sales and customer relationship management is desirable.

- Excellent selling and negotiation skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Good product presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of generators and electrical power solutions.
- Good reporting and record-keeping skills.
