Job Description

Job Title: Security Personnel
Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and hotel property by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance feeds, and enforcing security policies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol hotel grounds, lobbies, corridors, and parking lots regularly.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control points.
  • Authorize entrance of vehicles, visitors, and delivery personnel.
  • Respond immediately to emergencies, fights, medical crises, or fire alarms.
  • Conduct security checks on staff and luggage when necessary.
  • Document detailed daily logs and write incident reports for management.
  • Direct traffic and assist guests safely within the parking area.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience: 2–3 years of security experience in the hotel industry.
  • Education: Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or equivalent; security certification.
  • Clean criminal record with a valid certificate of good conduct.
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods.
  • Quick decision-making skills and sharp situational awareness.
  • Polite, firm demeanor with excellent customer-centric communication.
