Job Description

Uganda Christian University (UCU), a private institution founded in 1997 by the Province of the Shurch of Uganda, is dedicated through teaching, scholarship, service, spiritual formation, student development and social involvement; to the preparation of students for thoughtful, productive lives of Christian faith and service in their respective professions.

UCU invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the positions listed below.

Senior Lecturer (Law)

The Senior Lecturer in Law will be responsible for teaching, assessing and supervising students in various areas of legal studies. The role will include preparing course materials, delivering lectures, guiding students in legal research and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

The successful candidate will also undertake scholarly research and publication, contribute to curriculum development and participate in academic and professional activities. The role requires strong academic leadership and a commitment to developing legally competent, ethical and socially responsible graduates.
