Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise contractor crews in the assigned discipline against the crash schedule’s daily/weekly targets.
  • Verify on-site crew headcount against the Resource Loading plan and escalate shortfalls immediately.
  • Represent the company for any urgent on-site meeting.
  • Quality check work before requesting sign-off/certification from the Supervision Consultant.
  • Report progress and blocking issues directly to the relevant discipline PM daily.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, MEP or Building Construction, or recognised trade certification in the relevant discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of hands on site supervision in the relevant discipline.
  • At least three years on high rise construction sites in Uganda.
  • Experience supervising crews of 20 to 50 on multi storey projects; ability to manage concurrent work areas preferred.
  • Relevant disciplines named in the source are Civil and Earthwork, Finishing, Electrical and Mechanical.
  • Experience running two concurrent work fronts in the same discipline is a strong
  • Basic scheduling literacy and daily site progress reporting skills, whether paper based or mobile based.
