Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

The role will be responsible for developing and executing the country marketing strategy across product marketing, brand building, trade marketing, digital and social media, consumer campaigns, field activations and sales enablement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage marketing budgets, agencies and partners, monitor competitor and market trends.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness using clear commercial metrics, and ensure consistent brand communication across urban and rural markets.
  • Work closely with sales, distribution, customer service, collections and operations teams to translate consumer and channel insights into effective campaigns.
  • Generate qualified demand, strengthen dealer and field-agent performance.
  • Improve customer acquisition, activation, repayment and retention throughout the paygo customer lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing sales or a related field, with proven ability to connect marketing activities directly to sales and business performance.

SKILLS

Candidates should have strong experience in consumer marketing, trade marketing or growth marketing in Uganda, preferably within solar/PAYGo, FMCG, telecom, fintech or other mass-market businesses,
