Mission/ Core purpose of the Job 

The Specialist Agent Liquidity will ensure efficient and effective support to Digital Distribution team to handle agents, partners, dealers and sales team rebalancing queries. The job holder is accountable for daily support delivery to Agents, Dealers, Regional teams and other channel partners ensuring prompt reporting and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

Main Job Functions:

 

  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of liquidity channels performance to regional teams.
  • Support Agent Quality Management team to ensure that all issues raised from the market are solved.
  • Manage and Train Direct Sales Distribution (DSDs) teams and collect feedback for effective liquidity delivery in the Trade.
  • Support manager Liquidity to Identify rebalancing gaps per liquidity channel and devise solutions.
  • Analyze channel performance trends and share with regional teams to fix rebalancing gaps.
  • Timely resolution of liquidity queries from agents, AQM and regional teams.
  • Identify process gaps and spearhead the implementation of initiatives such as automation tools for process improvements within the unit. (likes of Voltex,)
  • Handle IT changes and UATs which involve commercial input.
  • Close liaison and tracking of all rebalancing channel partners to ensure efficient delivery of float and cash to MoMo Agents.
  • Aggressively drive agent and rebalancers amplification.
  • Escalate any process gaps and Trade incidents to the Manager Agent Liquidity Management.
  • Promote the use of digital Distribution Tools to drive efficiencies in the delivery of Float and Cash to the Agent network across the country.
  • Support in recruitment of new rebalancing channels to address rebalancing gaps in the trade.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A Business degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or any relevant field.
  • Relevant Practical Training in Digital Distribution excellence

Experience:

  • 2 – 3 years’ relevant experience in Mobile Money distribution or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) distribution channels management.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ progressive experience in channel liquidity/stock management within the Mobile Money, Telecom or FMCG Industry.
  • Proven exposure in Dealer and channel partner engagements for business growth
  • Knowledge and experience in Digital Distribution channels management
  • Good Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage Dealers and Agent expectations (internal and external) stakeholders who impact performance.
  • Knowledge and effective application of all relevant Fintech/Mobile Money policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines to consistently achieve required compliance standards or benchmarks.
  • Ability of open communication, teamwork and trust that are needed to support true performance and customer-service oriented culture.
  • Good team player, positive attitude, and willing to work under high pressure and tight timeline
  • Good Ability to engage with cross-functional teams to build collaborative relationships and grow alternative sources of float and cash for Agents.
