| Reporting To | Head of Department |
| Job Purpose | To design and fabricate prosthetic appliances while overseeing the training of undergraduate dental students in prosthetic dentistry and to train dental lab technology undergraduate students. |
| Key Duties & Responsibilities | 1. Teach and supervise in the prosthetic clinic for dental students.
2. Fabricate prosthetic appliances in fixed and removable prosthetics 3. Participate in research activities contributing to evidence-based learning. 4. Assess the fitness for custom made devices and propose alternatives. 5. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department. |
| Required Qualifications | i. At least a second-class upper Bachelor’s degree in Dental Technology from a recognized university or institution;
ii. Registration with the Allied Health Professional Council and a valid practicing license. iii. Experience in a training institution for at least two years. |
| Tenure of Appointment | 4-year contract |
| Age Limit | APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIFTY FIVE (55) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. |
