Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join Next Production Limited, a brand of Next Media Group. The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales of production services, including video production, event coverage, content creation, and other creative solutions. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, understand client objectives, and develop tailored proposals that deliver value while contributing to the growth of Next Productions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities across various industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Promote and sell Next Productions’ services, including video production, event coverage, content creation, photography, and other creative solutions.
- Meet with clients to understand their communication and production needs and recommend tailored production solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, quotations, and pitches.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with production, creative, and project teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, client records, and regular sales reports.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities within the media and production landscape.
- Represent Next Productions at client meetings, networking events, and industry engagements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the media, advertising, production, or creative industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Uganda’s media and production industry is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems is an added advantage.
