Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To drive business growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing key customer relationships, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement country-specific growth strategies.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Generate qualified leads and convert them into business.

 
  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Market share growth
  • Selling our Managed Saas Platform Communication Gateway, Software development services, payments solutions & AWS Cloud managed services
  • Developing relationships with Large Enterprise customers, Telecom operators, Banks and Micro-Finance Institutions
  • Identifying tender & EOI opportunities and managing bid submissions.
  • Working with technical teams to develop customer solutions.
  • Managing strategic vendor relationships.
  • Understanding the technology landscape in your region.

 
SALES REVENUE & GROWTH
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Upsell and cross-sell existing services

 
  • Revenue achieved versus target
  • Value of contracts signed

 

  • Sales pipeline value
DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN A MARKETING STRATEGY THAT SUPPORTS DELIVERY OF MONTHLY SALES

 

 
  • Develop and / or review and implement a marketing strategy that grows MTech products and services.
  • Generate the demand (pull) while the sales function satisfies the supply (Push).
  • Implement approved marketing plans based on market conditions, strategy and return on investment.
  • Identify gaps within the market that offer opportunities for the Company to maximize on profit.

 
  • 5% market share growth in each product / service of Mtech Ltd.

 

 

  • Short term versus long term objectives. (continuously).
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES LAUNCH, TESTING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

 
  • Research and evaluate products and services opportunities, demand for potential products and services and customer needs and insights.
  • % increase in revenue as a result of product pitching.
  • Propose acceptable projected revenue streams.
  • Evidence of these activities conducted.
  • 20% increase on revenue generated year to year.
  • Increased team contribution and participation by championing two projects per year.
  • 100% commission issued from profit/revenue generated.

 
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Manage and build business relationship between Mtech Ltd (both internal and external stakeholders)
  • Cordial relationships.
  • Derived benefits from these relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Conduct regular customer visits.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly.

 
  • Timely responses to queries.

 

  • Steady revenue generation.

 

  • Mtech’s presence in all business sectors in your region.

 

  • Increased client referrals from the bi-annual surveys.

 

  • Number of client visits per month

 
COMPETITOR ANALYSIS & MARKET INTELLIGENCE
  • Study market changes and monitor and analyse top 10 competitor activities to advise management on their direct and indirect impact on Mtech products and services.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends.
  • Identify emerging opportunities.
  • Recommend new products or services based on customer needs.
  • Provide regular market reports.

 
  • Competitor analysis report and recommendations to the Management.
WEEKLY/ MONTHLY/ HALF YEAR AND ANNUAL REPORTING
  • Developing and submitting/ sharing actual information and timely reports on a weekly, monthly and annual basis on sales and marketing activities, products & service performance.
  • Readily available reports
  • Tallying data reports as compared to revenue generated.

 
QMS & ISMS RESPONSIBILITY
  • Ensure compliance to all QMS anD ISMS requirements including Mtech QMS & ISMS requirements and Standards.
  • Support and aid in the implementation and continual improvement of the QMS and ISMS
  • Departmental Procedures adhered to
  • Knowledge of Mtech’s QMS & ISMS requirements.

 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.

  • Understanding of sales and marketing fundamentals.
